Only his nemesis, neurosurgeon Bruce Chalmers, remains in-house. Voight hatches a unique treatment scheme involving the two lovers, a Phoenix-like prescription. But, Chalmers disagrees on what's best for Danny and Ashley. Danny plunges into shock.
