Toliver’s adventure begins when he is abducted and swept away from San Francisco on the first day of his senior year summer vacation. Eventually he makes progress, but not without the help of his best buddy, Whip, and his heart throb, Copper, but even they could not protect him against the mysterious organization called the CENT - his captor. Toliver’s mother, Renee, and Copper are also kidnapped by the same group that holds Toliver against his will and they use the two women to force Toliver to do their bidding. Toliver is committed to rescuing them and avenging the atrocities committed by the CENT. Thousands of years ago the members of the CENT were referred to as Wise Ones, Clerics and even Wizards. Countless stories are etched in lore of the strange powers and unimaginable control these talented, yet dangerous, individuals utilized.
