This personal story reflects the lack of sincerity on the part of the people who ran the Nigerian Federal government at that time. This story also reveals the difference between the expectations of the young African student as he struggled to come to the United States and the realities he experienced on arrival in the United States of America. He lacked the money to pay for an Ivy-league education but he had tremendous faith and determination to succeed. At the end he succeeded.
