She is also an experienced rug maker and weaver who dabbles in water colors and basket making. Her work can be seen in the Gallery North Art Gallery in Bemidji, Minnesota. She and her husband Dwayne live near Bemidji, Minnesota where Mary continues her work as an independent theater director, costumer and scenic designer.
