A Memorial of Mr George Frost Book PDF Summary

George Frost was the much loved Pastor of Rehoboth Baptist Chapel in Jarvis Brook, East Sussex for 21 years until his death in 1904. This 'Memorial' was first published by Benjamin Wickens in 1906. It contains a brief account of Mr Frost's life written by his wife, as well as poems, the funeral sermon by Mr James Dickens of Rotherfield, some of Mr Frost's letters and four of his sermons. One of the sermons was an address given to the congregation of Christ Church, Crowborough Cross which was at the time a Free Church of England place of worship. The Church would invite ministers of various denominations to preach on Wednesday evenings on 'The second coming of Christ'. Mr Frost accepted the invitation on the basis that he would be allowed to preach in accordance with his own faith and order. This book has been reprinted as a facsimile of the original.
